Venture Snowboards. Venture Snowboards is a small, independent, grassroots snowboard manufacturer based in Colorado's San Juan Mountains. We produce superior performance snowboards in the U.S.A. Our goal is twofold: to create the ultimate ride while minimizing environmental impact. We offer five different board models for all styles of snowboarding and all types of mountain terrain. The Zephyr is an all-mountain freeride board engineered to perform in a range of conditions from hardpack to corduroy to fluff. The Euphoria is a powder specific board designed with backcountry enthusiasts in mind. The Helix is dialed for freestyle riding and excels in the park and pipe. The Storm, developed in conjunction with Silverton Mountain, is a big mountain freeride board, perfect for riding in bounds or in the backcountry. The Divide is a backcountry splitboard designed to operate in both ski and snowboard mode and is ideal for backcountry touring (a splitboard is also known as a split board, split snowboard, splitboard snowboard, splitty or split). We offer each model in three widths, for optimal performance whatever your footprint. Our wide snowboards are ideal for people with big feet. We don't make so-called women's snowboards, because there is no such thing. Our narrow boards are ideal for women or riders with small feet. We handcraft our boards from scratch with only the finest materials including sustainably harvested wood, sintered base material, triaxial fiberglass, stainless steel inserts, full wrap steel edges, and P-tex sidewalls and topsheets. We build our own Bookmatched symmetrical wood cores from scratch using poplar and ash. All Venture decks are built with sidewall construction. We also offer custom snowboards, built to your specifications, and custom graphics. We take the environment into account in our every action, and aim to be as environmentally friendly and green as possible. Our focus on conservation is demonstrated by our use of environmentally friendly materials and production techniques such as sustainably harvested wood, natural and organic fabrics (including organic cotton and hemp), a comprehensive recycling program, and the use of wind power, a renewable energy source. In addition to snowboards, we offer a full line of softgoods including men's and women's apparel and sweatshop-free clothing including t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleece beanie hats, and ball caps.
